Dr. Gonca Cankardeş-Şenol is a professor in the Department of Archaeology, Ege University, Izmir, Turkey and a specialist in Eastern Mediterranean amphora stamps. She has published numerous studies on amphora stamps found in sites of Anatolia, Rhodian Peraea and especially in Egypt.
